STORM BOY led them at a shade below benchmark, built slightly through the middle before extending late. He will only get better over further, and I believe this prep will be the making of him. TROPICUS was clearly the horse to take from the race. The trials leading in were neat, and he was well overlooked in the market. Ranked third over the final 400m on the day, and was the clear outlier from the tail, having been snicked back from the widest draw. Don't drop off GATSBY'S. Sticking at 1100m off that impressive win resuming was likely against. He almost certainly needs to step up in trip, profiling for 14+.
UP AND COMING
AUTUMN GLOW improved her figure by 1.6L, and did so with still plenty on the line. She is obviously a smart smart filly, with her ability to maintain above benchmark across three sections, and improve late. WANARUAH boxed on soundly after setting a well above average tempo. He too moved his figure forward, and I think the only other you really want to take out of the race.
